Sean Kirk completed his Legal Practice Course in 2006 at the Inns Court School of Law. He qualified as a solicitor at a large national firm in 2009 into the firm's Civil Litigation Department under the guidance of the firm's Senior Ligitation Partner.

Since qualification, Sean has advised on all aspects of civil litigation including residential landlord and tenant matters, debt recovery, personal injury and contract disputes. He has now taken this experience forward to the Dispute Resolution Department in Smith Law Partnership, which he joined in May 2011.

Sean lives in Colchester with his wife and at the moment spends most of his spare time endeavouring to conquer his garden, ignoring his wife's pleas to install a hot-tub. He relaxes by watching Spurs fail to qualify for the Champions League and consoles this failure by the odd large glass of single malt.

Julie Hammond is a secretary in the Dispute Resolution Department. She enjoys working in the department because the case load is so varied and diverse and every client has a different predicament. No two days are the same!

In her spare time Julie enjoys music, reading, gardening and relaxing on hot sunny beaches in the Mediterranean doing absolutely nothing!
