These are the terms and conditions that apply to 'Smith Law Partnership Legal Discussion Forum' which is made available to you by Smith Law Partnership of Gordon House, 22 Rayne Road, Braintree, Essex, CM7 2QW (“we” or “us”). These terms and conditions may be updated by us from time to time without notice to you, so you should review them periodically for changes.
This forum is intended to be relaxed and welcoming. It is for general discussion only. It is NOT a source of legal advice. Answers will be given without checking the law and with only a partial knowledge of the circumstances.
You agree that use of this forum does not create any relationship of lawyer and client or of confidentiality either between posters or between us and posters. For that reason we encourage all users to choose an ID which does not disclose or suggest their identity.
It is a condition of access to the forum that you take any decision or act only upon advice taken by you independently from the forum and from someone able to discuss your case with you in full.
Using the forum is intended to be constructive and supportive. No material which is abusive, obscene, discriminatory, slanderous, threatening or which is or may be in breach of any legislation shall be posted. You also agree not to post any other person’s or firm’s copyrighted material.
Because the forum is public you must not post or discuss private details or identify any person or firm involved in any case.
You agree that all material you post becomes our property, although you remain solely responsible for the contents of your messages and to keep us indemnified against any claims brought as a result of you submission of material to the forum.
We reserve the right at our discretion to remove or edit any comments we deem inappropriate or disruptive to our community or to close any topic. In some cases topics may be removed for being inappropriate, even though the individual post may not have been objectionable.
The forum must not be used for advertising your or any other business or for spamming.
We reserve the right to ban any member who violates our guidelines or disrupts our community. We will be fair and normally provide a warning.
